On the hunt for a clutch - need some guidance

Hey guys,

I'm not on the hunt for a new clutch after my old Exedy 3 puk ceramic clutch gave up on me after 8 months of relatively sedate driving.

The car is a Galant VR4 making 226kw at the wheels with a 50-trim, 272's, etc. so the potential for that power figure to increase is there, so I need something that is going to hold something like 270kw.

I have been looking at the Fidanza clutches... What is the deal with the Kevlar 4 puk one, and also the sintered iron clutches?

I really want something that is going to last longer than what this one has, and also provide grip when I need it for when I go to the drags or if I go to the mountains for some more endurance based driving. Something that is going to slip after it gets a bit warm isn't going to satisfy me. A heavy pedal doesn't worry me either.

Any guidance is much appreciated!

Thanks :)
Mat

Ive got the fidanza 3.2 you were referring to. Its now broke in and there is pretty much no clutch chatter now. Thats pretty good for that style of clutch. When launching it feels really really strong, like it could rip the tranny apart. Daily driving is a breeze. You can feel the difference in pedal pressure but nothing dramatic. I highly recommend it.

Why is this in problem diagnosis? Just wondering.
