I have the 90 oil filter housing, the one with the external oil cooler. According to road race engineering, the turbo feed should come from a port facing the front pointing down for filtered oil. Go to this link and go to bottom for pics and description to see what im talking about

When I take out the allen key nut thats in the housing I see the oil cooler bypass valve (thermostat) spring I believe.
Questions are
Wouldnt this block off oil flow to the turbo until oil is operating temps and the valve opens?
Does that spring hurt flow to the turbo?
They say the hole is filtered, but is it before or after the oil cooler?
Anyone with this oil filter housing use or not use this hole for turbo feed?
Input appreciated
