If this is necessary, then why hasn't it really been brought up in the past, and why aren't they just provided when people buy "kits", grrrrrr I'm pretty upset

XMasta19 said:I need my new manifold and downpipe ASAP

I'm sorry i never looked at the pics you sent I thought they were of the oil system so i didn;t take the time. I had no idea the manifold did that.
first off for the oil system you want about 40 psi of oil pressure. if you haev more then that then you'll definately want to use an oil restrictor. 90% of eclipses do not require one. but with a built engine sometimes the change of compression and other mods can increase the oil pressure.
Right now I am in quite a predicament. My welder was moving to a new space and the owners backed out on the lease. So we are trying to setup all of his equipment here. But its going to be next week by the very earliest that he'll be ready to make anything. I really don;t know how the manifold would even do that. We started making them this way because it made them rock solid. We even tested them under high stress on a press with a blow torch and could not get them to break. But stainless can be a wierd metal sometimes and I appologize. The best thing I can really offer is that if you can send that one back to me I can get it fixed ASAP ans get it back to you.Well I cant send the manifold in to you because Im actually selling my current setup to a friend. I was under the impression that you still owed me a new manifold and downpipe from our original arrangement, and that you would be able to finally provide those to me. From everything Ive read and what my buddies have told me, my design is definitely different than theirs because it was the prototype so to speak. With the money I get from my friend, I will be buying a T3/T4 upgrade this way the new manifold you send me can be flanged for external wastegate as well, and the downpipe made for the 5 bolt outlet instead of the 3 bolt discharge on the regular T3. So youre telling me that you dont have any currently made up, and it would take at least another week before fabrication could even start? Is there not any way that you could try calling me about this? Im not able to reach your number from here in Alaska, but Ive also had a few different friends from the forums try to call you for me as well I hate sitting around waiting for emails when my car is just stuck in my driveway, its very very annoying especially when I know its going to snow any day now and then my car is done for the year. Like Ive said before I havent had any problems with you in the past, so Im hoping we can get this all worked out soon.

Sorry, I;m trying to take care of too much at once. I am sorry that the manifold did that but we can easily repair it if sent back. I can't just eat a new manifold right now. They cost me too much. My welder guarantees them so if something comes back he eats the cost. I sent you that last one at below cost on me. You have helped me out a lot and still do in sending me sales so i am very willing to help you out however I can but I just can;t send a Brand New one for free. Also as far as the downpipe. We do not have any reliable way to setup a downpipe hre and then send it to you. We dropped that idea and truthfully we may stop selling the 420A kits very soon anyways because we just don;t sell enough anymore. There is just too much junk out there to compete with. Let me know what you think is fare on a new manifold and I will see what I can do for you.
