OMG My car hates Oklahoma City

Wow, Talk about Bad luck, I went To Oklahoma city 2 times in the last month to help a buddie Build and setup an NEW Car Audio Shop there (Big Daddys) and holly crap my car just hates that trip for some reason!!!

First of I drive my car 60Miles round Trip EVERY Day just home and to work without anything else, And Very Little problems ever...

But I take 2 Trips to Oklahoma City Witch Is actually 2 miles less in the opposite direction and NOTHING but problems...!!!WTF

First trip I took up there on the way home my I hit the first toll gate and gun it out the gate and it starts cutting at 4lbs of boost... CUTTING BADLY as it revs higher than 3500 rps.. WTF I pull in to a gas station and look under the hood to see a electrical storm coming from my COIL! I took 2 1/2 hours to limp home when i finally did it was almost 2 in the morning..

2 weeks later I roll up there and again On the way home just after the 1st toll, I here my belt squeal a bit..
I stop and get gas and check it, WTF The Lower bolt for my alt is MISSING!!! I drove all the way home running with some alt and then on just my battery power! 2 1/2 hours later I made it home with the check engine light on ( from NO alt ) No headlights, because it almost dies with them on....

Tell me again why these cars are so fun!

i ran without an alter till the damn thing died. It was about 3 in the morning when i got home. I had to have my buddy infront of me as headlights and when my car died i would have to get a jump and let the battery recharge then back on the road... worst exp ever... But man i feel ya. Its a love/ hate relationship

Same thing for me, i kept turning my headlights on and off when i saw a car so they would no i was there, i got done with my shift, 9pm ready to go home hopped in the car, turn it on and bye bye belt... barley made it home.

Your in better shape then I was. In 2007 I moved back to TN from CO. Just out side the Co state line my ps line on top of the pump blew and leaked all over the alt. Unknow to me how it happened but it caught fire. Burnt my car almost to the ground. I had a tow truck come and pick it up and I gave them the title and said thanks. So untill 3 weeks ago i've been with out a dsm. I just picked up a 1g awd. It has not been taken care of so I have been cleaning it up and finding I have quiet a project on my hands. I feel ya on the love hate thing. i love dsms and my car, but hate that I still cant drive it. And it will be a while till I can. Good luck. We all need it.
