Unfortunately the centerline's only come in 17x7. Damn Honduhs!! Almost all of the wheels I like only come in 17x7 instead of 17x8.

But do you really need 17x 8? I have 17x8 enkei shoguns w/ 235 45 17 Michelin XGTZ4s on them & they fit great. How large of a tire are you wanting to run?

I want to be in the 11's on street tires. I am thinking I may have to go to 245/40's (1g). I am going to start with 225 Azenis' though I think.

thanks for the insight KEN, the rota slip streams are *SUPER* light i saw them on sheps car at maple grove and didnt even pay attention. anyone have a link to the VOLK site. i would like to find out the price and weight for 16x8's

I just bought some Kosei K1 Racing rims from Tirerack for a hell of a lot cheaper than that. My 17x7.5 K1's with 235/40/17 Yoko AVS Intermediates weighed in at 42.5lbs a corner. I think the rims are around 16.7 lbs a piece but they are cast, not forged.

Got my new wheels today. Got them from wheelmax.com. $950 shipped. 17x8 Speedy Atix in Gunmetal, w/ tires, mounted, balanced and shipped to my door! They look OFF THE HOOK! I can't wait to get them on the car (having head work done now). I believe they only weigh like 17lbs too. Not too bad. Anyways, I was VERY impressed and happy when I saw them. I think they are going to look tight as **** on my red 91 AWD.

dude my talon was faster than the mustang with bpu mods,and the mustang has a blower to boot pre99 4.6L gt mustangs SUUUUCK. no seriously it was not quicker than the stang but it felt a whole lot better. i have decided on the volks, the question now is 16" or 17x7.5" wide or 8"

How about RH CP-035R's, you know the polished ones... TIGHT! Everyone who has Volks have the TE37's so go with something different like the RH's in 18's (Still Pretty Light)

(Motegi MR7) and $150 cdn per tire (Falken ZE512, 215/40/ZR17)

Ever consider the 3G RX7 wheels? They're 16x8 and only weigh ~15#.
For $300/4 they're hard to beat!
