I have oil in my upper and lower intercooler pipes and in my intercooler. Any idea where this is coming from? I have the turbo that came on the 1g autos, I thinks its called a 13g?

Thanks,
Corey

Thanks, I will try that but I'm afraid that it's something worse. There is a lot of oil in the pipes. If I wipe my finger on the inside of the pipe it comes out totally black. Would that much oil come from the valve cover vent? The car has 80,000 miles on it I can see I building up with time maybe but the valve cover is cracked so I don't think there would be any pressure in it anyway.

thanks,
corey

oily IC pipes can also mean a dying turbo. when the seals leak, it gets everywhere. Take off the MAS and snorkel to see if your compressor housing has any oil in there.

it doesnt nesesarally mean a dying turbo, your breather hose can be responsible for a large portion of it, just take your ic off and clean it with gas, do a search, your car will run much better

I installed a catch can today, which I thought was a pretty slick idea cost me 4 dollars haha. I also cleaned my intercooler and its outside drying. Hopefully everything will be running better now. I'm not to worried about the turbo as I'm going to be getting an evo3 16g in a couple months. I'm just glad it's not something worse. I was worried I was going to have to get it rebuilt. Thanks guys
