Is it worth rebuilding an engine that was oil starved for a quarter mile? The engine has seemed to seize car will not turn over anymore. Or any ideas how i can get the car running again this in the shortest amount of time.

As long as you are ok with paying for machine work. Does it turn over?

I saw a thread a few days ago where a guy got a 420a long block off Craigslist for ~$300.

Cheaper than working on a block that need repair (and it could be cracked where you'd have to toss it anywhos-and there is money spent and lost in finding out this one issue), or can't be repaired.

DODGE motors are dime a dozen cheap.

Come on guys... the obvious thing to do here is 4g swap it... LOL

Check the yards for a long block man, you didn't really give enough information to tell if it's cracked or threw a rod or something, but I would guess it's trashed.

I somehow drove 200+ miles without an oil cap and no oil in the car before mine threw 2 rods and trashed my block... I think I was sabatoged :ninja:
