Well I was dogging my 2g clipse Gst on the highway cause traffic pissed me off. When I arrived at my destination I noticed my stock oil pressure gauge reading ZERO WTF

So I checked my oil, dipstick shows acceptable level.

Topped it off anyway since I have a leak ROFL

So now I'm scared. I talked to my local dsm shop they said probably the sensor or the wire died.

Where do I start trouble shooting this? I obviously need to fix it asap as oil pressure is kinda important to my car running 25lbs of boost LOL.

I checked my oil cap and my valves are wet like they should be. so it seems my oil pump is working, but I'm not for sure yet. Is there a check system for your oil pump?

Any help would be great as my 400hp car is close to being a 0hp car without oil pressure

Will check that in the mourning, dark here on the eastcoast LOL

Thanks for the idea :D

Since we're on the subject, which wire goes where? On the sending unit? I recently removed my balance shafts and had everything un-hooked. I did mark them but the wires don't reach properly, it seems. How high is the stock needle supposed to go while boosting? Mine always sits about a quarter-inch above the mid line on the stock oil pressure gauge. I know, I know, I need an aftermarket gauge... :D

Look down by your oil filter, there should be a black line running by it with a black plug on it. there should be another line connected to it. The line leads to the oil pressure sending unit. See if it got unhooked during your dogging through traffic.

Thanks a bunch man you lead me to the right starting place :D
The sending unit shitty T connection decided to dis-connect LOL
Oil pressure is up, all lights are go, WERE OUTA HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG

Ps. Thanks again, saved my life.
