Oil Pressure Light

I am running a Turbonetics T3/T4 60 Trim, and every time I get into boost my oil pressure light turns on, or flutters on and off. The oil pressure gauge doesn't move from where it usually is.

The car feels fine, it has nice power, I'm only running it at 9 psi right now untill I'm sure nothings going to blow up on me.

I'm worried I'm not supplying enough oil to my engine or turbo.

Anybody experience this or have a suggestion to fix it?

maybe a loose connection at the sensor? Where are you feeding the turbo from? Oil level ok? My oil light came on too a while back but everything was fine. It was just a bad sensor. Too lazy to get a new one so mines just disconnected.

Gauge reads OK? Iwould replace the sending unit for the light. MAybe change oil too. `Filter could be bad. Just what I would do.Mark

if i were you i would get that checked out soon it might be coming on that you could be loosen pressure some were or it not holding it.i had that problem and i let it go and my engine went to hell.i would just double check what is the worst if you do it now it could be real bad later if you leave it in for while.

I guess I should have given a little more info, sorry, I just swapped heads two days ago and put the head off a 1993 onto the block from a 1990 using the stock head bolts from the 1990, at that time I changed the oil and put on a Fram filter.

I'm supplying the oil for the turbo from right by the Oil Filter, not from the head .

I'll definately have to look for a loose wire, the only problem with that though is that the light ONLY comes on during full boost.

Is the sending unit leaky?Mine would do that too till I changed out the sending unit.
