just a quick question, i have a problem and just need to know what the typical oil pressure should be according to mitsubishi or if you know. i use mobil 1 10w 30 if it makes a difference.

so what your saying is that around 10 psi at idle and anything over during driving (up to 100)

Bear in mind that DSMs are reading the pressure right at the pump outlet- many engines measure on the block, or another similarly-removed location.

I'd think the most useful location for a pressure sensor might be up on the head.
