Oil Pressure Gauge Problem Help!

my oil pressure guage is acting weird im afraid to drive my car right now.
at idle my car oil pressure gauge raises then when i start driving it starts to to go down slowly almost to the low mark. what the hell is wrong im not going to drive it intill i know whats wrong so please help

is this the stock guage? when's the last time your oil pump was changed? i hope thats not the problem because they are a pita to replace.

Bend the contact for a tighter connection on the sender plug. Gently.

If the connector plug dosen't fix it, it sounds like the pressure regulator in the pump is sticking open.

I'd find a buddy that has a mechanical oil gauge that you can slap on it to check your true oil pressure. If it's normal, then replace the sending unit and be happy. If not, don't drive it until you figure it out.

problem fixed the sending unit was just screwed up
