1G Oil pan question please help

[Bizarre]

Just wondering if anyone knows why this 6bolt oil pan is indented like this?(dirty one with the green block oil drain side)
Never seen it like that before.
All the pans ive seen or the one I have is flat like the STM pic (drain plug side)

To simplify things, Im just going to say that it didnt come from a Dsm, its either from a forklift engine, a Mighty Max engine, or a Hyundai or something like that.

Definitely not from a dsm the drain plug is on the wrong side.
