Oil Leaking Into Turbine Housing Due to Clocking?

Hey guys I'm stumped. I helped a friend put together a turbo setup on a Maxima using my old T25 and a Starion IC. Car runs well except it keeps pushing oil into the turbine housing. We have replaced the turbo thinking that it had something to do with that and upped the size of the return hosing we are using. We're using a 3/4 return to the pan right now. It took about 3 weeks of driving this time before it started to leak, just as we thought we had straightened it out ya know. Anyways my question is if the cartridge is clocked and sitting at a little less then a 45* angle would it cause this? could it still be a restriction in the return? We are trying to iron the kinks out of this system before he buys a larger turbo, but at this point it's getting rather expensive just replacing the t25s.

Either the turbo is getting too much oil pressure causing the oil to make it past the seals, or the return line is not flowing enough and causing backed up oil to go past the seals as well.

try a restrictor in the oil feed line.
