Well I have had my new motor since july. And I have a major oil leak now. I bought it from karking. Its pushing oil from the side the head above the head gasket. Where the headgasket meets the head. Its not the banjo bolt. Whats going on? Is it a bad head gasket what? I was told that I over boosted and or overheated it but the car has never seen of 10psi nore overheated. But is it my headgasket or whats going on. If its head gasket wouldnt it push coolant? This car is becoming a pain.

You'd have to get alot of new gaskets probably resurface it. But while you're at it you can get the MLS one.

Another 1000 or more. Could have bought something new with all the money I have invested. Its one clean dsm there becomes a point.

Car is at the dealership now getting checked. Its coming from the left side by thethermo. Its not the banjo bolt. Or the cas seal. Its coming out from where the side corner where you can see a little bit of the head gasket. Leaks at all times. Like give it gas and it come out faster. Sit in one spot for a little and there will be a pancake spot there.

This is one reason I warn people away from KarKing. Had one when I bought my car, and their idea of 'fixing' a leak was to slap some RTV over it. Was leaking like a sieve less than a month after it was dropped in.

I also seem to have the same problem, but my leak is located only in one spot. And its on the Left front corner. It looks like the valve cover is leaking a tid bit. It doesnt look like it leaks much but there is some noticable oil around the area.

I too have the same problem. My headgasket is leaking on the thermostat housing side and behind the turbo. I have retorqued the head studs and it had no effect. I am probably just going to pull the head when I go to install my cams this spring or summer unless anyone can come up with a better idea. By the way I have a cometic MLS headgasket and ARP's torqued to 90 ft. lbs.

I ended up just doing a re-torque on the head. They were no where close to the proper torque. But this thread is old.
