scarborough,
just had my rebuilt head installed, now is leaking oil from the head gasket near the left front side all down to the block. i installed it with arp head studs, mitsu hg, no copper spray. i touqe it down to 65lb as i remember.but the arp recommend 70lb and the manual said 60lb.so i when with the middle.

has anyone had this problem with their head install?can my he gasket be blown already?.im really not sure what is the cost of this.the only two things i can think of is the under touqe or that the block was not flat (i didn't check the block, because i've research this and is rare that a metal block would warp) any other suggestion?

Are you sure ARP recommended 70lbs? I torqued all of my studs down to 85lbs i belive, same head gasket( i sprayed mine). I think you need to torque yours down some more.

I remember taking my ARP's to 90 ft/lb's. I think playitlouddsm is right. Do a search and I'm sure you'll find what others have torqued to.

ya im gonna try and re-torque it,hope that would stop the leak.i just wanted to make sure nothing else could be worng with it.thanks guys
