I have a problem everytime i goto the track but now i have a problem now that i cant figure out, i have an oil leak that get on the side of the valve cover, the head, the exaust side of the block,(all on the timing belt side) and its also on the alternator and the drivers side crossmember... and it only leaks like this after boosting it or racing it. i cleaned it up over and over again and drove it normal and it would be fine, but as soon as i raced and then looked under my hood then i saw all this oil...

im not really sure where its coming from, ive checked almost everywhere i just cant pinpoint it because it doesnt leak at idle or reving it up...

please someone help me with this!!! :talon:

it might be, that was one of my thoughts. but the rubber isn't hardened or dryrotted, it does tho have a small tear in it... also when i take out the dipstick before wiping it theres oil all the way up to the top (all the way to the rubber).

Exactly how much boost are you running at the track??? You may want to invest in an aftermarket larger catch-can.. The factory breather on the valve cover is not nearly enough to relieve all the pressure in the crank case when under a full load of boost.

im running 25 psi and i have a new pcv...

so what your saying is the crankcase is building to much presure because of the boost setting so the dipstick is where you thnk its coming from

Yea, it definitely sounds like blow by, i have a buddy with the same issue, his dipstick keeps blowin out, a rebuilt lower bottom end, solved that issued, he had some worn piston rings.

no no no ive got a brand new forged bottom end the moter only has 650 miles on it.

the dipstick isn't really popping out ive just got oil everywhere after i race it...

please sombody help

Its either the dipstick, the valve cover gasket, or the cam seals. Or any combination of the aforementioned. Clean it all off with brake clean and see where it comes from.
