Hey fellas. I finally got my car worked out good and drivable, clutch is broke in.. afc is tuned up. I was boosting earlier tonight @ 18psi w/ no problem.. cleared Second gear @ 6500rpm, went into third and finished it out at 6000rpm. Now, when I hit 6000rpm I went to depress the clutch so I could cruise . When I pushed the clutch down I heard what sounded like a solenoid clicking (just like when you try to turn your battery over and it's got just a little bit of juice left in it) except the sound came from the driver side and close to the windshield. Car seems fine and operable, though i didn't drive it but .25/mi before i was home.

Would the Fuel Pressure Solenoid do this because it was under a load? When I pushed the clutch down after clearing third gear the car just calmly shut down w/ the clicking noise. Thanks for input in advance!

are you recirculating your blow off valve? if you vent it to the atmosphere the car tends to flood itself when shifting under boost and simply stalls, your ecu has allready compensated for the air in your intake system, as its allready gone by the mass air sensor, when you shift it expects this air venting from the bov to be there. if its not there you find yourself with a bunch of extra gas with no air, stall!

Yeah, it's recirculated. clean and proper setup, no vacuum leaks, no boost leaks in the entire system

- 190lph fuel pump, no aftermarket FPR (stock), 550cc RC injectors (i've read the stock FPR is fine until 255lph)
rewired power/ground of fuel pump, using the write up posted in the forums.

Crank Angle sensor? does it still start, or have you tried it?

ive heard of this problem before, the fuel pressure solenoid would start clicking and the car would shut down. Try unhooking the vac lines from it and plugging them and starting the car and see if it still does it. If it stops dying then you know the issue, if it keeps dying then something else is going on.

Sorry for the delay on getting back, work called. Car hasn't done it to me since the couple times it's happened. No fix or other aparent problem yet.. Hate being in this situation LOL. Thanks for the helpful info guys! I took the suggestions to overlook my work anyway. :thumb:
