okay so i was driving yesterday and i go to pull into a parking spot and my car just shut off :( i tried starting it again but nothing. it sounded like it was trying to turn over but the car just wouldn't start. i have a half tank of gas so i didn't run out of gas. so now I'm stumped i have no idea what the problem is I'm going to go get a new fuel filter tonight and see if thats the problem. but if anyone has any ideas to what it might be please let me know

thanks Ben :dsm:

its weird i wasnt driving it hard at all just normal driving not even under boost and there wasnt any noises when it happened. the car shut off as if you staled it, but thats not the case

same thing happend to me last night...and i checked for spark and nothing...
so i disconted my mogle sensor or coil sensor(not sure wats it called)and i plugged it back in like 5 min later...my car started up and ran fine again...i think it was that my mogle or coil got really hot

My car did this before. Turns out that where the positive battery cable connects to the battery, there is a little fuse box with a thin piece of metal that connects to the terminal as well. It becomes brittle due to battery acid corrosion and if it breaks contact the car will not run. Still have power but engine won't crank or run. Check it, you never know.
