I have a 93 eclipse 2.0 non-turbo and for a while now its been turning on and now it just stop turning on, so i decided to check if i was getting fire to the spark plugs and i realized that it wasn't and another thing i noticed is that there was oil in the spark plugs as i took them out. my question is will my car not start if there is oil in my spark plugs even if i was getting fire to my spark plugs?

If the oil has soaked them then no they may not spark. Pull the wires off and plug a spark plug into it and have a buddy turn it over and make sure all wires are firing. The oil can be in there from a bad valve cover gasket. Or the worse would be fried up piston rings which would mean the motor needs an overhaul.

Its possible that it wouldnt start, but you would have to have all 4 spark plug tubes flooded with oil, and the boots would have to be cut or rotted away. Check for spark like JayRolla mentioned above. The oil in the boots is coming through the half O-rings that go between the head the the valve cover. Just replace the valve cover gasket and those o-rings to fix the oil leak. Your piston rings don't have anything to do with your spark plug tubes getting oil into them

well i just did a compression check and it turns out that spark plug number 3 is the only one that does have oem spec compression. so i guess my piston rings are gone and i have to replace those. but now my question is why would there be oil on all the other spark plugs as well if they all had good compression?

Is the oil above the spark plug or on the tip (inside or outside the combustion chamber)? If it's above the plug (in the plug tube), then this can cause the plug wire to arc through the insulator instead of across the gap of the plug. How do the threads look in the head for #3? If they look good, the only source of oil would be the plug tube gasket like others mentioned.

And bad compression doesn't mean rings. Do a leak down test to find out where the leak is. What were the results of the compression test? Did you follow the correct procedure for the compression test (just making sure)?

well the oil was just on the tip. i just finished rebuilding the engine so i put new pistons and piston rings so i know it couldn't be the rings worn out since i haven't even ran the car yet. all the spark plugs still look good. I followed the compression test just like it said to do on this web site my result was
4=192psi 3=40psi 2=192psi 1=192psi
then it said to add a little bit of oil on the one that has low compression so i did and it boosted the compression to 80psi so then it said if it raised the compression then it would be the piston rings which i don't understand since there new and haven't been ran on. could this result be the plug tube gasket also?

Wouldn't be the plug tube gasket; that just seals the valve cover to the head. That would only affect firing of the spark plug, not compression.
