oil filter size?

i searched through the forums and found i should either get a 1g(90-91)oil filter or 3kgt, but none of the forms said what year 3kgt?? and out of the 2 which should i get...

or you could run the one ment for your year car its always done fine for me...i use the K&N oil filters

The K&N oil filters are nice, but my local auto stores only stock Mobil 1. If you go that route, Mobil 1 Model M1-110 is the oil filter you need.

EVO filters also will work. I also have heard you can use one from an Impreza, but I don't know if that is true or not.

Back this up. Find just one thing about Frams that you can demonstrate as fact. I'm so goddamned tired of seeing Fram dissed every time they're mentioned, yet in over thirty years at this, I've yet to see one fail or have any other issue. Or, for that matter, to actually see, first-handed, any oil filter have any issue that could be traced back to the filter's shortcomings. I know of one Motorcraft filter that was blown off the mount of a 351C in the back of a Mangusta because of a seized pressure relief valve.

Frams are fine. So is any other filter you can find.
