I have teflon tape on it and turned it as far as I could then used a wrench to tighten it quite a bit after that. I only used a thin layor of the teflon, could that be my problem? I also only put it on the middle portion of the fitting, should I start it at the beginning of the threads?

I just got my 50 trim setup started and the oil feed and oil filter are both leaking, oil filter I just have to tighten with a clamp.

im guessing its on the -an threads? if so i have heard you shouldn't have to use teflon on -an fittings.

or is it leaking from the flange to turbo gasket? i tried making my own gasket for that and if its not perfect it wont seal it.

and if I did use teflon on it what would I use? I can only get it to tighten so far with the crescent wrench.

i dont really understand the question...

where exactly is this leaking from? is it leaking from the feedline near the head or the filter housing? or is the leak on the end of the line near the turbo?

you might just have to get a new line and fittings if it wont stop because obveously its not sealing.
