I have a question about oil feed sizes with my Pte Scm34. I realized that my boost is still only at 6-8psi, but before I changed out my oil feed line it, my turbo boosted fine no problem(20+psi).
So when I replaced my old feed line I noticed that the new one was thinner/smaller in diameter(EXTREME PSI : Your #1 Source for In Stock Performance Parts - Oil Feedline Kit (Oil Filter Location): Mitsubishi Eclipse 90-99). I run my feed from the oil filter housing.
So could my turbo be seeing less oil pressure than what is needed to spool up to +20psi? My current oil feed is not leaking whereas my old one was. Honestly, I thought that if it was still seeing oil from the filter housing the oil pressure would be enough.
