So i have this Type of oil housing.

And i want to add a oil cooler.
If i was to put fittings like the ones picture, With lines attached to the oil cooler. Would it work and flow the same as if i had a 90style housing??

Thanks, comments welcome

Looks pretty good man. I don't see why it wouldn't flow the same. There's going to be positive pressure running through those lines, so as long as you used the biggest barb fitting you could in those you should be fine. I'd hook everything up and do a leak check. If it doesn't leak, I'd say you're golden.

Looks pretty decent but I'd spend the few extra bucks on A/N fittings and braided lines. Wouldn't cost to much, would be more free flowing and you wouldn't rely on a hose clamp. You'd have a screw on fitting with positive locking.

Got it's been so long but I'm guessing it'd be -6 most likely but possibly -8 but really you'd have to look at the oil cooler input/output and see what size screws into it. Take it with you to a speed shop and they'll help you match it up. Also bring a cap screw from your filter housing or one of those barbs if you have one.

Sorry i'm not sure of the correct name of it but this is what i'm talking about.

The one on the back is the pressure sensor. The one on the front of the housing is a 2G oil feed line. This guy looks like he's got a T and will put a temp sensor in it as well.

Summit and Jegs sells full kits with braided line. Or if you already have a cooler, both those sits sell all the necessary fittings and braided line in 3ft sections. My roomate used a kit that came with -8an and used that on a 90 style housing, so that should be plenty.

Well, all thats is coming off my oil housing is the oil sending unit. thats it.
and the oil feed for turbo for the turbo, but will go from the head too.
i dont have anything like that front light sensor

I can't see the picture from work (blocked site) but usually it's an aftermarket oil temp sensor they put in there.
