my motor is from a 92 6 bolt plymouth laser turbo...
my car is a 90 eagle talon tsi awd turbo.
so i'm trying to put the oil cooler on and i notice that there is a differece and the oil plate does not fit directly on.. is there a difference between an auto and manual 4g63 motor? any help on getting this oil cooler to fit and work will be great !

you need to swap the entire 90 oil housing. 90's have an external oil cooler whereas 91-93 i believe have a oil cooler that is built into the filter sandwich that runs coolant from the motor through it. You will also have to cap off your water pipe because it has fittings to flow coolant to the oil cooler.

Someone correct me if i am misteaken.

im not completly following you... are you trying to bolt the complete oil filter housing from your 90 onto a 92? and it wont fit? if it doesnt fit then you might have a late 92 and its actually a 7 bolt... did you double check to make sure it is actually a 6 bolt?
