oil cap flys off????

ok so whats my problem here......

The engine runs fine starts right up...builds so much pressure in the head it makes the oil cap fly off ...

smokes just a little bit not much though.......

sound like rings or valve guide seals???

i am rebuilding the motor its actually a spare that i have layin around so any info or help please help...oh yeah and refer ginsu417 to this site cause i plan on puttin a turbo on this motor and i wanna know if i should double up the HG or just get a thicker one.

Oh yeah and one more thing, i am planning on shaving the head should i proceed with thuis or dont bother if i am gonna TC

That's not in your head, that's in the crankcase. Are your PCV valve and crankcase vent both clear? Or is it just a worn-out oil cap.

Wouldn't be valve stem seals, there's not that kind of pressure there. It could be rings, which is "blowby".

Sorry, I don't much speak to turbocharging non-turbo motors.
