Oil Amount

Ok well Im new here and come from being a "Eurotuner" which was way to expensive for the enjoyment I was getting.

So now im here with a 91 Galant VR4 and slowly gathering parts for a super 60 t3/t04e install on it...however my question is much easier and for some reason I can find it.

What is the oil capacity of the 4g63 engine, as in what quartage, if thats even a word do they use and what oils have people had luck with, thanks!

4.5 quarts with an oil filter change.

if I were u id go to walmart and buy the 5 quart jugs on mobil 1 10W 30 full syn... bulk = cheep and go to the dealer for oil filter THEY MAKE THE BEST ( no fram! ) a total of 25 dollors around there... even if the local mechanics say 12 dollor oil change they prolly use "Aunt John's Old Style Robot Cooking Oil " (0W 10)
