hey guys, im about to pick up a 97-99 GSX here soon (mainly because of you guys convincing me not to go back to turbo'd FWD again)...
Well the original plans were to buy a rolling chassis and a 6 bolt and have the thing fully built and drop it in at once.
I have an immediate goal of ~400awhp/~350trq which I know these will reach rather easily...
Not to say that money isnt an issue becuase it is, but ive always been for doing things right the first time. What parts route would you guys recommend in a setup like this to attain this goal, from tranny rebuilds/parts, to all inner workings, chassis bracing ect.?
This wont be my only car as I will have a DD also, but I would like the car to be reliable and DD ready if necessary. Im very familiar with the moto "Fast and Cheap isnt Reliable and Fast and Reliable isnt cheap"...
Not to say that money is unlimited because it isnt, but ive got some money to work on the car, a decent background (and my boys @ 4G Performance are right down the street

Ive been trolling the site for some time now reading searching the whole 9 yrds. What im after is a good breakdown of parts for a reliable and streetable machine, and if its anything like my boosted 06 Si ("I just wanna hit 300 and im done... ok i hit 300 now i just want 350
ect...) id like to be able to make more power down the road if my heart desires.
