oem keyless remote

I have the stock oem 1995 eagle talon tsi keyless remote unlock/lock .

today getting into my car it just stopped . wouldn't work at all , so I replaced the battery thinking this is the fix nope check the fuse under the dash nope not it so what could be this problem ? and how would I go by fixing this ?

Have you tried to reprogram the remote?

I have had to open mine up and take a pencil eraser and clean the contacts and then it works good again for a while?

I don't know how to reprogram it . But the light pops on when I hit the button but nothing else happened and I really need it because of this cold weather makes my doors lock up and I had to buy a new key it bent .

I have the one factory keyless remote one day just proof stoped working . i dont have an ebay oneonly thing in my remote to change the chanle is a screw and i have not messed with that i checked all fueses and all good there is only one right the anti/theft one its a 10a fuse?
