Thank you bro and you are spot on it is that car. Most people on here say keep it stock and everyone I talk to in person says mod the crap out of it. Hoping to to keep it simple and nothing crazy, and honestly if it was a different color interior I would have considered it LOL.

if you have the original interior keep it, whatever you mod on the car keep the original. just dont do anything to the car thats non reversable like tube the front end or roll the fenders and such. then when you go to sell it you sell the aftermarket stuff and put the stock back in. thats exactly what id do, in my car i have the numbers matching block sitting in a tote and have my built one in the car haha

100% agree with this approach.

Wish I could find a spare block I would definitely do this and save my matching numbers one..

Summer Updates:

The car is still running beautifully and is ready to be driven. I will be taking the car to get some work done (paint, exhaust, and wheels), hopefully within the next month or so…

Here is some small little details/parts I got for the car while I wait to order some serious modifications.

Most people end up regretting modding or changing much on a car like that. And its worth WAAAAY less the further you get from that 1 owner oem car..
I agree, but it’s good thing I’m never getting rid of it. Almost everything I’m doing to this car is reversible except the paint job. I’m really not too worried about a resale value…been a dream of mine to own this car and bring back my childhood. I’m not letting a resale value step in between that.

Unfortunately, the paint isn't in very great shape, the body has over 196k miles, it's seen some things. Car has had multiple incidents/small accidents before it got to me so it has parts that have been resprayed on it already... I wish I could say the paint is "all original" from the factory but it's not. So I figured might as well go all the way, multiple cracks and fading that you can't see in the pictures I've posted. Sad truth.
why not just wrap it? hate to see a colour change on such a rare spec dsm....
