ok i was about to buy this kit from ebay........but im hearing i should just get the parts from the dealer .....the thing im not sure what parts i need so if anybody knows the part numbers please tell me

I would suggest going with one of the kits, it will have everything you need and complete instructions to boot.

Do NOT use that kit. The stubby shaft does not have the oil grove in it. Go to one of the vendor sites and get one from them. Street Tunned Motorsports or Extremepsi would be two close ones for you.

You NEED that grove in the stubby shaft. I know for a fact that the STM one is an OEM stubby shaft.

Balance Shaft Eliminator Kit Install

I used the parts in the vfaq and got them for about $40 at the dealer. Like ^^^ said, the groove is a MUST.

You can use the existing BS bearings if you remove them carefully and rotate them 90*. The rear one is a PITA and I mangled it when I took it out.
