Edmonton,
I've got a 92 Talon Tsi, and I'm having some troubles... I want to be as clear as I can to explain what is happening... so here goes.
When I start my car I seem to be having this "richness problem", or something like that. It's hard to explain, but the car will shake, like it wants to die, yet the RPMs say at a constant level.
It will shake, or sound like it wants to die, but won't. Then it will clear up for a second, then go back to sounding "bogged?" then clears up again. After afew times it seems to smarten up and everything is fine.
I do have an SAFC in the car, and I have noticed that the throttle position seems to move abit, but it does not always happen with the problem I am having. Is it possible the TSP would cause all of what I've mentioned?
The problem does not happen every start up, but it can occur after the car sits over night, or even after I've run it about 15 minutes, let it sit for 10, then fire it up again.
Sorry this isn't very clear, but it's a hard problem to describe. Does this make any sense to anyone, could I maybe get pointed in the right direction?
