I can not for the life of me figure out where some of these sensors connect to. Does anyone have any pics of there engine bay that they could send me of a closeup of the thermostat housing and the TB. I really need to figure out where these sensors connect too. Any help would be appreciated

the plugs only go one way for the most part.

i was looking at that but it blocks almost all the sensors going to the tb and the ones going to the thermostat housing. THis is really frustrating me. Are the sensors for the thermostat housing different on a 90 than a 97 or are they the same?

give us more info on what you are doing

Alright, its a 97 5spd i bought w/o an engine or tranny. I bought a complete 90 engine w/turbo and got the tranny i needed. I put it all in as well as all the other neccessary parts including a 92 TB since the 90 was different. Everything is now in and ready to go but im having a lot of trouble making some connections, particularly the thermostat housing ones. THere is a bundle of 5 connectors 3 of which connect on the TB which i have hooked up, the isc, the tps and one other that i dont know what it is. This leaves two of the connectors without out a home, one is a yellow two prong connector, the other is an orange 4 prong connector. There are 3 sensors that i can see on the thermostat housing i have. there is one right by the radiator cap that is a two prong one. There are two others that are almost side by side that are near where one of the coolant lines on the thermostat housing come out below the upper radiator hose. One is a two prong that looks like a T, the other is a one prong. I hope this helps bring it into visual perspective a little more.

ok, its starting to make sense now i think. The 1 prong on the TB that isnt used must go to the 1 prong on the thermo housing. Does this mean that the green 2 prong connector is the 02 sensor connection? Also, the pic you gave me i drew an arrow to show where one other T shaped two prong sensor is. I still don't know where the orange 4 prong goes, ill go take a pic and upload in a sec. Another question is where does my temp gauge get the signal from if the 1 prong is the only used one on the thermo housing?

o2 sensor is a square shaped plug. 4wires.

i think the one on the water neck is T shapped. temp sender i think.
