The "middle" line in the Carousel that Mitch the intructor showed me, leads to sick exit speeds, and a super fast run up to the kink. Ran down a few cars in that spot.

There are so many small tricks at that track....

Approaching corner six there is a 2-3 foot dip in the track which allows you to brake harder than you'd think as the suspension compresses going through the dip. Almost like free downforce. You can get away with braking really late there and suprise cars with a move to the inside for a pass. (Not that this happens at track schools, but you'll be racing this weekend!)

Try that middle groove in the Carousel. Start the Carousel at track left, moving to about the middle of the track by halfway through it. Then squeeze the car to the right as you add power. Touch the inside front wheel to the yellow curb just after the apex and let the car drift left to track out. For me this gives me the fastest exit speeds. It may be worth a try in a practice session?

ita a total of 3:30 hours of hotlaps and racing so theres plenty of time. I just hope Im not plauged by problems like I am with the talon.
