hello there. i just bought an obx afpr used with guage for 37.50. im wondering, what size adapter flange do i need for the fuel rail? i mean, what size line can i just hook up from one of these adapter flanges to the afpr? ive searched around this site but havent found what im looking for and im not quite sure what -6an means so any info will be much appreciated cause i dont want to end up having to get an adapter for my adapter if you know what i mean LOL. :confused:

okay, how about just the rail adapter and a hose barb that i can just screw onto the adapter and use rubber fuel line from the adapter to the afpr? 100.00 is very spendy, too much for me at this point. thanks for the reply though, ill look into that when i have the cash, but for now i need cheap.
 
Sell that thing on ebay and get rid of it. You will thank me for not installing that on your vehicle as it will just give you headaches. The spring in it is affected by the underhood heat and will give you less and less fuel pressure as underhood temperatures increase. Very hard to tune with. If you want more fuel pressure just get an na regulator from any naturally aspirated 4g63 6 bolt motor. It sits at 50 psi at idle and is a rising rate regulator (boost sensitive). I have gone through the same situation you are going through and ended up ripping all that stainless braided crap out and gone back to stock and found it to be the most reliable setup ever.

At the risk of sounding stupid [dont know all the tricks of the trade yet]. How is a n/a FPR boost sensitive? Got any pictures of it? What year motors did it come off of?
 
well, actually, i believe i will need to lower my fuel pressure as the wally 255 will over run the stocker, right? i mean, maybe ill need to raise it a bit over stock to accomodate the larger injectors but not too much? anyone with some feedback plz feel free to elaborate on this.

Never ever ever had any problems with overrun and a walbro 255 hp. Any naturally aspirated 4g63 motors regulator will work. It looks exactly like the one you have now except that the spring inside has a higher pressure.
