1G OBD1 scan tool suggestions

Does anyone know of any scan tool that will work for my obd1 eagle Talon? I don't want the hassle of returning an item because it claimed it would work but don't like I've read on many reviews

Yes. Dsmlink allows you total control over the ecu

I was planning on getting one already but I didn't know it read codes so now I really need to get one. I'll take a look at my ecu to see what I need when I get home.

ECMTuning can also convert non-eprom ecus as well...

are ecmlinks plug n play or are they much more involved than that? I'm worried about me messing up and frying something in the process
I've seen someone sell their ecu already chipped with their ecm link so I might just try to do that and keep my ecu for if anything happens

Please go to the ecmlink page and read up. You need a full understanding of this product. Everything you need for basic Info is there.
Ecmlink is not a scan tool. It is a very capable tuner that can read codes also. In the right hands it is very versatile. In the wrong hands you can absolutely blow up the motor.

If all you need are codes a cheap analog voltmeter, Noid light, or 12v buzzer will do also. 5 $

yeah I'm gonna go that route. I'm still trying to get my car back up and running good so not looking to tune just yet. Alright thanks for the link
