I am trying to rule out why I am running lean up top while trying to tune via Link. I am maxing out 720s and even 1000cc injectors on 22psi pump gas on a holset hx35. This should not be happening. I am looking at my wideband and I am cruising at 55-60mph for a few minutes waiting for closed loop and it never happens, just pegged out lean at (---) and pegged out at idle lean (---). Would a bad front o2 sensor be the cause?

I also smell a weird gas fume smell when I turn on the heat, but I see no leaks in the fuel system and have a new filter and seals in the fuel system. No leak or kinks at the pump or lines, afp has been changed out with 2 different ones. Boost leaks are if any minimal. But nothing to cause injector duty cycles to max out like this up top and to be running lean.

Suggestions? Tomorrow I am going to the aprts store and using a friends discount to buy a new sensor.

Your o2 sensor is shot i'm having the same exact proplem in my 2g as we speak. look at your o2 voltage in your log. If its 0'd out at all times even when you richen the mixture then your o2 sensor is dead.

Yeah I had the same exact problem. I hooked up a narrowband in my car and thought I did it wrong cause it wasn't moving from lean so I ran a diagnostics. It was the front o2 sensor but make sure you get a DENSO one cause BOSCH doesn't reach and I didn't want to splice anything.
