AS far as I have read, the 02 housing of 1G Turbo DSM is very restrictive. I know that I can buy a tubular 02 housing or to get mine ported. But what about a 2G 02 housing??? Does the 2G 02 Housing is less restrictive than the one of the 1G??? what about a ported 2G 02 housing on a 1G car, will it work fine?? will it fit directly or will I need to make some changes??? Will this be enough or will I need a tubular one???

I will appreciate any advise or suggestions!!! thanks, in advance

I kept mine, just ported it like CRAZY. The 1g exhaust manifold is bad, I'd swap that out first. As far as what will fit, I think they both will work with the t-25, 14b, 16g and maybe even bigger. My setup is 2g manifold, s16g, 1g o2, 2.5" DP. Everything port matched.

I am looking to have moreless the same setup as you... I already have a 14B ported and my future plans are:
- Get a 2G Ported Exahust manifold
- 2G Ported 02 Housing (if it fits  )
- 2.5" D.P.

What about the Intake Manifold?? should I keep the sameone or should I get mine ported? or what about a 2G Ported Intake Manifold???

Let me know

You don't want a 2g intake manifold, it's no good. The one you've got will take you much further than that 14b can. Once you start looking for 11's, think about replacing with a SMIM or having it extrude honed.

Ok, so right now I will focus on getting a 2G Ported Exahust Manifold, a 2G ported 02 Housing and a 2.5 DP...

Thanks

any more suggestions?

Get a 2g throttle body elbow if you can find one off of a parted out car or something. Big size difference. Very noticeable when compared to the 1g one.

If I could go back in time, I think I'd do a 3 inch DP. It's not like the one I have fits perfectly anyway, it still makes it a bi*** to get to all sorts of things, including the oil filter, it doesn't match super well with the o2 housing, etc. So going smaller didn't actually make things fit better. Check out the Megan (sp?) DP, it seems to be pretty popular on here, and the fitment sounded super. I don't know how it will match up to a stock o2, but I'd find out before ordering anything.

I doesn't have any clue about those DP were such a pain... So you are telling that both (2.5" and 3") will cause me troubles with fitment, oil filter, 02 housing fitment, etc???

BTW I have an other question: when I install the DP (2.5" or 3") will I need to change all the tube (Pipe) that goes from the catalitic converter all the way to the muffler????

 WTF

I don't know if anybody actually directly told you if 2g o2 housing will fit on a 1g, but it will, just to let you know. Also, most people like to work from muffler and on back, like get a catback first, then a high flow cat, then a high flow dp, and then the o2. Or you could just get a turbo-back system and take care of all of it at once. That's what I would suggest. As far as you question about the dp, i think you're asking if you can bolt it directly to a stock cat, and I don't believe you can. I was thinking about bolting a high flow cat to the stock dp, and I know you can't do that without a flange, so you couldn't bolt a high flow dp directly to a stock cat without modifications. Hope that helps.

This is my suggested final product

2G manifold (ported to 7cm) ---> Ported exhaust housing (ported on inlet to 7cm and around wastegate to reduce boost creep) ---> 2G O2 housing ---> 2.5" or 3" downpipe ---> High-flow catalytic converter ---> 3" exhaust

Yup.this is a good mod too.I did this along with my uic piping and i noticed some nice bump in hp on the butt dyno.Just port the intake side to 60mm to complement your 60mm TB,be carefull though it gets thin.On the 2g o2 housing,it will fit fine.Thtas my next mod two, casue im creepin in high rpms and well, its just an excuse for my wife,it might still cree after. :p

I agree.

Ok, let me told everyone what I have right now in my car (exahust mods):

- Cat. converter removed
- SuperTrapp 2.5" Tuneable exhaust Muffler
- 14B with ported exhaust housing

Everything else still OEM. So what I want to do is what the guide line (of the site) suggest to do: 2G Ported manifold, 2G Ported 02 Housing, and a 2.5" or 3" DP.

Ok, so my questions are: what should I do with the 2.25" OEM tube that I will still have from the DP to theSupertrapp exahust muffler??? should I also replace that tube with a 2.5" or 3" tube??? or should I leave it like that with 2.25"???

Does someone have a link just to know how to and how much to port the 2G exhaust manifold and 02 housing?? or where can I get info about this?

PS: Thanks for the 2G TB elbow mod suggestion. I will include it on my "Future mod list" :thumb:

I don't think that the oem tube is 2.25" from the muffler to dp, I'm pretty sure it's smaller, but I guess that's besides the point. Anyways, I would strongly suggest you just go ahead and get new 3" piping if you can afford it.
As for the 2g manifold and o2 housing. The o2 housing, you can port that to 2.5" yourself, all you would need is a die grinder and some bits from home depot. The 2g manifold, that is a little bit harder. I'm not really sure that you could port that with a die grinder, but you can get it extrude honed. So what I would suggest is that you get regular 2g o2 housing and port that yourself and for the 2g exhaust manifold, you can buy those that have been previously ported so you don't have to fool with it.
