Made the 2 bars to connect the upper support to the lower. The whole upper piece comes off by removing 4 quick release pins. Ordered a set of aeroquip hood pins, once those show up ill add the tabs to the upper bar.

I haven't updated this recently. Made quite a few changes in the setup since the last time I updated. I made two more forward facing manifolds like the one on my car for people who contacted me about them, then I sold the one off my car along with the intercooler, down pipe, dump tubes and hot side intercooler pipe to a local. Then i sold the t4 .98 hotside off my turbo and picked up a tial housing with a 1.30 a/r.

Then i started on the new manifold. Made a jig to cut 4-1 collectors.

I've added the waste gate since these pics were taken, a single pte46mm.
Made a catch can that sits between the firewall and the passenger strut tower.

Bought two a2w cores and started making my own a2w ic. Once the water tank arrives ill finish up the ends on the ic for the water to enter and exit.

The motor and trans are done and assembled, switched cams to a kelford set. Still waiting on those to show up. Traded the super tech dual springs out for some kingly's as well. Once the cams and water tank arrive ill be busting ass to get it finished. I'd like for it to be tested a few times and be able to take it to the shoot out, but we'll see.

Air to water intercoolers? How do those work exactly? And what is that aluminum box that your intake is connected to? I have no idea what's going on in this build thread but I am going to follow because it is damn interesting LOL

I like that style manifold allot better then your first one
The first style was to be able to still use an a2a intercooler this one there's no way to. I could have used the first manifold still and just used an a2w with it, but I like the style better also.
That new front end looks amazing!
Thanks man. I'm happy with how it turned out.

Air to water intercoolers use ice water flowing through them to cool the intake temps instead of relying on air passing through the intercooler like an air to air style. That's a oil catch can, it's not connected to the intake. Just really close :thumb:

The newer setup looks amazing! Water to air seems to be the way to go for getting into the low ET's.

What trans and converter are you running? Also is the block half filled?

Thanks. The converter is a bradco and the trans is one of our built ones. Same one we run/ran in the other cars. The block is full filled.

OH, My Good Fvcking Lord!!!!! I think, wait, yep gotta change my shorts. I could only wish to have the welding and fab skills you have, incredible work my friend!
Thanks man. There's been a lot of trial and error along the way being self taught, and still plenty of room for improvement.

Just noticed your location, so I should of guessed a Bradco converter LOL

Myself and a few others are also running Bradco converters now after seeing the success Jesse and Nick have had with them.

Do you think you will have this monster done and ready for the shootout?

Yeah bradco is actually just on the other side of my neighborhood. 2 min drive LOL. Shooting for having this car, our 68hta car and the 4g mustang there.

Interior is most of the way back together. Going to put a few small trim pieces back in, and make some aluminum door panels.

Looking good man. Chico not gonna like being told the center mount couldn't be done now ;).
I never spoke to Chico about which manifold he wanted. All I knew was that he wanted one that was similar to yours and mine. I'm not even sure a center mount could of been done on his car using that radiator set up and intercooler.

Pic of the wastegate added to the manifold and the charge pipe from the turbo to ic. My -16 weld fittings showed up today, so ill make the water end tanks part of the ic tomorrow.
