WELL... It has been a LONG time coming, I know. I have been working up and up for some time now, supporting us from afar (very far in fact 😆) and in the background, the goals were to always become a Vendor and support the DSMtuners forum and Community more and more, and I am now finally able to do so!

Since I am now in the US full-time, I wanted to start to progress more and push harder and further to secure my future and investment into our Community more so! What better way than to advance into the Supporting Vendor sector here. I am here to stay and look forward to helping many advance on their chassis either in the Aftermarket sector or in the OEM+ section (which I have been working SUPER hard on over the last year or so)...

OEM+ What does this mean??

So we all know OEM is the standard correct! Well, OEM+ is FIBA Motorsports' version. OEM+ is advancing on the OEM parts and making them better where possible, whether it be a material change for strength, grade of material to last longer, adding reinforcements, beefing up a design, or even just a full complete redesign! FIBA Motorsport is here to help you where possible!

Since Mitsubishi stopped making a lot of parts and discontinuations are almost weekly now, it is becoming a HUGE problem for us! We all need parts to live and survive, and that's where FIBA Motorsport is here, to step in where they leave you needing parts. I have many parts which I have worked hard on over the last year or so, and the end goal is to keep you running stronger, your engines and chassis working longer and harder!

With that said, please see below my first publicly released images and details of the first-ever product of its kind for the DSM chassis! No one does this, and this is where the motto INNOVATION STARTS HERE comes from. I truly try to innovate and reinvent the wheel in a lot of the FIBA Motorsport products, which are offered to all.

👉 Please welcome the 1G DSM AWD Rebuildable Carrier Bearing Kit 😲😲😲😲😲


This kit will come in two versions, BOTH are to fit your OEM housings! So you are refurbishing your OEM housing with NEWLY designed parts that are long-lasting, replaceable, and also upgradable - unlike before! These kits will be fully rebuildable and allow you to stock spares for the future. 🤯

KIT VERSION 1 Contents
  • New Stainless Steel press-on protective caps for both sides of the bearing (fully reusable if undamaged).
  • New poly dust seal for one side of the cap, as the OEM is (these poly seals are fully replaceable).
  • New bearings will be offered in three major brands from KOYO, NSK and NTN (also, the option to upgrade to a Hybrid Ceramic bearing).
    • Less friction and cooler running bearing = faster driveline speeds - optimal for racing (Ceramics will be made to order at the time, so a delay will occur).
  • ⚠️ This is for the people who have GOOD non-cracked rubber isolators ONLY!!! You will reuse everything else from your OEM housing otherwise.
KIT VERSION 2 Contents
  • New Stainless Steel bolt on protective caps for both sides of the bearing (fully reusable if undamaged).
  • New poly dust seal for one side of the cap, as the OEM is (these poly seals are fully replaceable).
  • New 2-piece design Poly Isolator Rings for the housing (these will be slightly stiffer than OEM to aid in better support). Poly material will outlast stock rubber by far (fully replaceable also).
  • New Stainless Steel Isolator Ring (metal spacer ring). This will be cut with drain holes, like the OEM is (fully reusable and stainless will never corrode).
  • New bearings will be offered in three major brands from KOYO, NSK and NTN (also, the option to upgrade to a Hybrid Ceramic bearing).
    • Less friction and cooler running bearing = faster driveline speeds - optimal for racing (Ceramics will be made to order at the time, so a delay will occur).
  • ⚠️ This is for those who have tired, dry-rotted, damaged Isolator rubbers and want a FULL service kit where possible!
BOTH kits will come with new hardware to bolt the housings back together again.

You will be required to precisely drill out your spot welds on the housing so they can be bolted back together again.

Should you need these rebuilt for you, I will be able to offer this service. Especially if you have a lack of tools or are worried about doing the job yourself.

This is just a taste of what's to come! 😍 Likely due to be released for the group buy in the new year, once Christmas is out of the way. So plan ahead and get your builds ready...

Glad to have you on board finally bobby I'm always here to help. I never knew we would have people creating parts for these relics.
We will always have people to support us is various ways along the timeline. I am coming in at an angle that quite a task to tackle and take on. We can all make aftermarket parts. But redoing OEM stuff can be tricky. Since I used to design OEM stuff for some chassis or variations of it I want to jump into our chassis more and more and it has been a goal to progress on for a while now.

ALL the new products are in some way very helpful to the lifespan for our chassis! Many exciting thing ahead to come out. 🤘
 
Hell yeah I've been around for 2 decades lots of parts we could use.
I lost count on how many we need haha. Hopefully these will all go down well and then allow more funding to put into R&D for other much needed parts.

Yes and No LOL.

I will be releasing the 2G Short shifter kit in the coming weeks to get them ahead, ready for production in Jan 2026. These have been well asked for since I announced them.

As for the OEM parts, I have MANY I could look into releasing. I have just announced the Lobro joint dust cover seal kits and their versions that will be available. Since those are pretty much gone/discontinued, I will be doing 2 versions of these. I shall do a dedicated post on this shortly for all to see.
  • (Version 1 is an OEM style) Steel-plated housing and rubber boot
  • (Version 2 is an OEM+ style) Stainless machined housing, Poly boot, and fully rebuildable if the boot gets damaged, so cheaper to maintain overall.
  • Both come with a new external support ring and new seals.

I am working on adding a DRAG ONLY product for the 1G/2G folks to the website as we speak. This is an EXTREME PRO product! This will hopefully be greatly appreciated by many as I know the stock ones are discontinued and aftermarkets break! Drag guys break them a lot also. Those likely will get placed on when the short shifters go on and can run them side by side as these are a 1G and 2G product, so it would be good to get them done for the fresh season, plus people can prep their chassis ahead of time and have time to install them.
