Not sure what's wrong with my built motor

I have a 99 gst that won't start an when it does start it runs pretty bad it does not like to rev up, an when it hits about 3k rpm it dies. It has a 255 lph fuel pump an 780cc injectors. It has a 60 trim turbo it has 272 cams Greddy bov and i also have an apexi afc neo, i don't know what's wrong with it if someone had pointers would be awesome

Check Fuel pump, fuel filter, injectors, compression test, blt, spark, any codes comming up? That should be a good start.

I think that it's getting too much fuel an drowns itself because it was puffin out a little black smoke. I just tryed again to start it an it backfired so loud on the first turn that it sounded like a twelve gauge right next to my head

Those injectors are cutting it close and might be to bit for the afc, if I remember right you can only use as high as 650 Injectors with a safc. So you will run rich.

The weird thing is that it was running fine yesterday unless I was full throttle then it was boggy then all of a sudden went like this it back fired pretty bad

You probably have a fat boost leak. Do a test and find it.

There is no boost leak it was checked before this started

check your timing.. make sure it hasnt skipped a tooth.... regardless of the pump the ecu is still helping with the right delivery.. just a question with the 255 did you do the rewire?

Well the Ecu is tuned by the apexi neo on this car except I don't know how to tune the neo..
If the timing was off do you think it could run like that? I'm almost afraid to try to start it again because of the backfire

A whole new timing set was just put on black smoke shot out when it back fired

http://www.raktron.com/fuel/rewire1.html re rewire.. and you can set the motor to tdc and make sure the crank and the cams all line up correctly without having to start it..
