Ok not sure if this was answered with an ISC post. My TSi will start and run with a low idle for a few minutes, and then pik up, but then goes bak to low idle. When I'm actually driving though it seems to be at a very low rpm, and sounds like it's missing. Some times when I tried to get on it a little (due to traffic) it stutered, but felt as if I got more pull out of it. I've checked the spark, replaced coil pack, and checked all my vac lines, but cannot seem to figure it out.

Any and all help would be appreciated.

How do the plugs look? have you looked at the timing at all? how are the plug wires ? swap out the maf for a known good one. just a few things to look at trying. keep us posted.

The plugs look really good (not real clean like not firing, and no big carbon build up). Wires r new, except one i broke, swicthed it out for and old 1 that was working fine. Took the battery in 2day found out it was dead. Could that have been the problem? It started a few times but not keep a cranking amperage.

The bad thing is I have to leave on tue. to go to port to cacth my boat. It might have 2 wait until I get back in March.

Id get a set of matching, new wires(not the cheap shitty autozone ones either) and start there. ive had those wires go bad on me within a month and do the exact sae thing. i now use 8.5mm magstar?(i think thats the brand) wires. theyre reaaaly nice and worth the extra money. also check your gap and make sure the plugs are gapped correctly .025-.028. last thing i would suggest is a fuel filter if it hasnt been done in a while

Alright I'll try that in the morning.

On another note. I changed batteries 2day, since the other was shot. And unfortunately now it won't eve turn over. I'm going to pull timing cover off again to check, and manually rotate just to make sure.
