Ok I'll try to keep this short.. I got my car a year ago 91 Eclipse GSX 5 Spd it has 109,562 Org Miles .. I pulled it off the flat bed took it around the block and it ran fine but wasnt as peppy as I thought it was gonna be.. or hoped I should say.. So new to this DSM I got a used 2G Exhaust to start my mods and I pulled the old 1G manifold off and found oil in it .. and in the runners in the head.. So I bugged out ran inside that night and found a head on ebay and bought it .. not even reading any of the stuff on this site witch was a big mistake.. Cause I didnt do a compression test ..or a leak down test cause I didnt know about these things till now and I already riped the rest of the head off that night and the head I got was more beat up then my head. So now Im saveing the money to get it sent out. The tops of the pistons had Oil on them but not Carbon just the valves had alot on them ... I really dont have the money or any of the tools to take the motor out and get the block redone... Im not looking for it to be a racer I want to use it to go to work but I want it to be able to keep up with a EVO or a SRT so u get the point.. this is the mods I have Already the Turbo is a small MHI 16G 49178-05200 with a evo 02 houseing and a downpipe a MBC . put in a FMIC 27x6 2.5 I hackd the air box pulled the honey comb thing out I have a X02 Raceing BOV 2G exhaust with EGT ,Air/Fuel , and Boost, Turbo Timer and a Data Looger on a palm but its still in my room I guess that it.. SO im wondering will this put me where I want to be ???? And if Im Missing something Please let me know or something else I have to do since im in the middle of doing motor work now ???
