Okay so I was driving home from dropping off the female "friend". Pulling out from an intersection the front end just drops as if I lost all power or it stalled. Like just a instant no power engine off. Instantly I was thinking wtf? timing belt broke my luck. I recently replaced the belt and the car was running rather well. Now the wierd thing is I get the car towed home, open the hood an remove the timing covers, the belt is still on and in time. Im getting fuel to the fuel rail no doubt at all. But there is no spark. I changed coil packs out, and transistors. Absolutely made no difference, no spark still. No fuses are blown and I don't see any obvious wires or issues under the hood that could cause this. The engine turns over fine no noises or anything out of ordinary other than the fact it just will not fire up. What should I look into next? Btw this is a 95 talon TSI, plugs are brand new NGKs, and new wires. Im curious if it could be the cam or crank angle sensors being as i know my luck and it usually loves to make me go back and redo everything Ive done once already, meaning the timing belt.

Anyway any tips would be great...as Im stuck out in the gravel driveway doing this repair....blah.

open up the ECU and check it out, same thing happened to me and the ECU burnt up. just a suggestion.
