So far I have a 93 tsi awd.
Upgrades:
16g turbo
ebay exhaust manifold
3" turbo back exhaust
272 cams. one has a blue strip and the other has a white strip. they came with the car
walbro 255 pump
FMIC, but its homemade and really crappy

Parts to be put on the car yet:
RC 750cc injectors
Maf Translator
Data logger just got ordered
Vrsf fmic

I know i want to upgrade my BOV since its still stock. But im not sure what else to upgrade to start making more power. Its a small 16g and I was looking to go for an Evo 3 big 16g. or maybe an 18g. I also want to stiffen the suspension but not lower it. As of now it hops up and down over like any bump. any ideas for my next upgrades? thanks

I would go with a Garrett big turbo and a nice intercoolor not a knock off from ebay. how much boost are you planning on running? that also makes a difference as well with what set up you are trying to run. there are other things as well like upgrading your ecu and if you plan on going big for the long run i would look into getting a rebuild kit for your engine. Also get rid of that ebay manifold and get you ported and polished one so you can increase airflow and poweroutput

ecmlink is good so that you can tune your car there will be a incredible increase in power and also you need to tune your car you cant just throw things on it or itll blow on you just making a suggestion :D

he has a VRSF 1 which is a legit fmic not an ebay knockoff

bigger turbo is a good upgrade with and external wastgate also a manual boost controller

get also good gauges for monitoring your car like a wideband, oil pressure, boost , fuel

with ecmlink you can also run bigger injectors and just adjust them accordingly and also get a intake manifold

sorry bro was stuck on the homemade FMIC
and i agree tuning your car for high PSI would give you the power your looking for once you dump the parts in:thumb:

Im not really looking at a certain number for boost. I want to stay save since the internals are stock. Im looking more so for around 350 at the wheels. Thats my goal, I dont think it will be that much of a problem to get there. I've also never tuned with maf translator. which is why its not on the car yet. I've also heard that 750cc injectors are to big for a 16g. I think what i want to do is get a big 16g, but its like 8xx.xx on extreme. and i dont really want an ebay big 16g. i also have been wanting to get the Forced Performance exhaust manifold and forged motorsport bov. can you make an internal wastgate turbo to external wastegate? and is there a benifit. Or what other turbo out there can easily make 350+ hp

Wish I could answer all of your questions but Ill try to help with what I can. First, I would stay away from the ebay big 16g turbo. The ebay 16g that came on my car when I bought it only had around 4,000 miles on it and had so much shaft play, it was scraping flakes of the housing off into my engine. =( The other thing to think about for ebay turbos is that a ebay 16g vs a MHI 16g will not pump out the same amount of air. You will be capable of more boost out of the MHI turbo. Next, changing an internal gated turbo to an external gated turbo can be done by simply welding the wastegate flapper closed on the turbo and mounting your external WG with the appropriate springs. I wish I could help you with the benefits of the external WG but I dont know them all. The 1 thing i do know is that with an internal wastegate the air going into your exhaust causes some turbulance which can decrease performance in some scenarios. Hope this helps, and Im sure someone else may have some additional light to shed on these questions.
