aight guys heres my set up 2g gsx with a huge fmic 16g turbo already tested boostleaks safc2 255 walbro and 650 cc injectors (and yes i know my profile says diff) now i was racing a buddy who used to own a gsx who now owns a 4.6l mustang gt and i wasted him but he said that it should be pulling alot hard than it was and another friend has a gst thats stock running 15psi takes off like a bat out of hell now keep in mind that this race was from a 60mph roll i down shifted into 3rd and she pulls hard but idk im being told it should pull hard now i know its hard to make a dignosis without riding in the car but is there anything anybody can think off that may be making me loose my power.

Street racing.... tisk, tisk...

What are you using to monitor AFR and tune the SAFC? And do you have an AFPR? You're overrunning the stock FPR if you don't have one. You might be running rich and you're not getting the power you're supposed to.

i just have a afr gauge and it bounced back and forth and the tune on the afc im not sure it was already in the car when i got it and can you go into detail about the afpr, sry im not sure on what the is.

it doesnt really stay in stoich its got a constant bounce if anybody knows how to tune the afc that would be great info the mods i listed at the start of the post should be what you guys would need to help me out correct?

Well to start off, what you just said is considered bench racing, you might want to look into that.
How much boost were u running? Your friend he could be running 15psi, but more than likely on a bigger turbo. Keep in mind that the gst is a lot lighter, do you have any way to monitor your afr's. Can you post up a log.

im pretty sure he has a 16g like me and i was running 20psi and how would i got about posting a log when you say afr im assuming air fuel ratio i have the gauge on my piller that i could video maybe but as i said it is just constantly bouncing back and forth and im not real familliar witht he afc and could maybe i have oil on my spark plug on the left and its on the bottem end of the plug maybe a pcv problem. and im sry im dumb at this guys i appreciate all your doing for me.

If your tune is stoich at full boost, you're way lean and probably knocking like a madman. Knock leads to pulled timing which kills power. You want your AFR closer to 10 or 11. If you can log knock, you can richen it up until the knock goes away.

Sounds like your slow because of a bad tune.

I'm no expert in tuning, but you need to learn a lot about it before you trash your motor.

If you pull the spark plug cover off the VC, is there oil all over the place under it? If so, it could be a leaking oil cap gasket, or it could be a cracked VC. If it's just in the well, it might be a leaking spark plug well seal (part of the VC gasket set). Clean up the mess, drive it, then see where it's coming from.

And don't street race. You might kill someone other than you.

First off, it sounds like your have a narrow band o2. Which is complete garbage, its doing absolutly nothing for you. Now on to your turbo/boost. Just because you turn up the boost dosent mean its going to make more power. You need a way to monitor what your car is doing. A datalogger and a wideband o2 would very helpful.

With your AFC, sounds like you need to tune your car for the boost that your at. My guess is your A/F is way off.

Also those 850cc injectors are probally alittle to big for a AFC tune.

take a picture of the guage. But it sounds like what you have is a narrow band, Does it just say lean, stoich and rich? Or does it have actual numbers? And It should be running from the o2 housing not after the cat(for more accurate readings).

it says lean stoich and rich and do i have to leave the narrow band in and is the wideband just tapped into the pipe and then the gauge is ran into the car and do i need a dsm link for it and it said sumthing about pluggin it in does it mean plugging it in like where you would plug into to check for a CEL

You don't need to keep the narrow band if you don't want. The wideband will come with a o2 sensor that you replace yours with more than likely. I don't have a wideband yet so I'm not sure how they hook up. I think you have to splice into a wire out of the ecu, anyone else know how to hook one up?

um. i dont know about autozone or any of those places. I would just order one out off one of the websites like Extremepsi.com or dsmparts, they are widebands all over the place if you look around.
