Ok guys.. heres the deal... I was driving and my car stalled on me. HAd it towed home and come to find out my #2 &#3 plugs arent firing. I verified this by pulling them and visually checking for spark. they are getting fuel. Ive replaced the CAS,CPS,transitor, both coils and ecu to try and elimnate the problem. No matter what Ive tried Im still not getting spark on the left side of the coil (picture below.. coils not working is circled in red) Ive swapped plug wires around and still not spark. Am I to assume it may be break in the wire from the ecu to the coil itself? If so how would I go to figuaring that out..run a new wire from what ever pin from the ecu to the connector? I have 3 wires going to the connector... dark blue with black strip... black with white strip... and looks like light bue with red strip.. where do I start... Im so lost at the moment.

check your connections , coils if still dont work then you need a new ignition control ma-dual . its a small black box thing with about 8 wires going to it . i had the same problem changer it and all perfect

Isnt that the transitor? ALso It is throwing a cell.. cas.. but Ive replaced that with a new one...

yea the transistor its about 100 in autozone .what you can do is buy it from them , take your old one clean it as much as you can and go back to autozone and warranty it and get your money back . i have done that in the past just tell them it is broken

If you have replaced everything that you said then you must have a short in the wiring of that coil pack somewhere. Check the wires as far as you can follow them and see if any are broken, stripped, loose, etc. Also check the engine fuses if you haven't already.

Does the wires go to the ecu or the transitor pack? If Im getting a code for my cas should I start with ose wires first?

pretty sure the coil you have circled is for cylinder 4 & 1.

2 & 3 is on the right

Well I have link and since I have a 95 ecu I had to swap the wires..

I tested the wires using the method below and both crank and cam wires tested good....

Here's the factory test proceedure for the 99 that should also work for you. Note all voltage measurements are to ground.
- Disconnect CAS connector.
- Measure the voltage on harness side CAS pin 3 (red wire) with key on - should be +12V.
- Then make sure you have continuity (0 ohms) on harness side CAS pin 1 (black) to ground.
- Then measure the voltage on harness side CAS pin 2 (blue/red) with key on - should be 4.8-5.2V

Does anyone know how to test the wires going from the transistor to the coil packs???
