Northwest 2010 1g build...

For starters I purchased this car in Illiopolis Illinois in 2009. It has since then made it's way to Portland Oregon.... My goals for the car is to be a good 350 to 400 awhp d.d. but be show quality at the same time....

This engine spun rod bearings 2 and 3 2 hours after I performed all the maintenance on it (including the timing belt and water pump). After tearing it down I found a lot of hardware in the crankcase from when the previous owner installed the engine. Since then The car has slowly but surely been going through a complete teardown and rebuild...

Thanks, this car has seen more miles on a trailer than I have driven it.....When its finished I hope the Portland DEQ is forgiving on where I'm stuffing all the emissions. Right now I have already relocated the charcoal canister under the pass/side fender.....The engine isn't assembled yet...I'm still in limbo on what stage of a port job on the head. Right now it is very mildly ported with a three angle cut.

So far the block has been decked honed and hot tanked. I am using the 2g piston 6 bolt rod setup. I have tri-metal acl rod and main bearings....The rotating assembly has been balanced by Capital Machine in Springfield IL...
