okay guys, im new to dsm's so please bear with me. im about to buy a 95 gsx and i think i know what all i want to do to it.

right now i can say i want an injen (or injen style) intake, 1g (or aftermarket) bov(recirculated of course, with hard dumptube), hard IC pipes, small FMIC, boost gauge/boost controller, ported 2g exhaust manifold, 2.5"(or 3"???) downpipe, 2.5" (or 3"??) exhaust with stock EVO8 muffler...am i missing anything? what "free mods" and "first mods" did i forget? i tried searching "free mods" and the link is broken. thanx guys.

i cant seem to find your fmic on cxracing.com's website..... really want a fmic where i dont need to cut the 2ga front bumper and can retain the 2ga foglights

The Greddy I/C will allow that, the upper pipe runs through the bumper support, the lower runs along/under the radiator support. (I think this is like 600 w/all pipes if I'm not mistaken)

A cheaper way would be to go with a Starion/Conquest and have larger pipes installed when your rerouting the pipes on the end tanks. ( I just did this I spend 25.00 on the I/C, 75 on fabrication/welding and tubing=100 add couplers, clamps, and with my pipes being custom bent from turbo to throttle body I'll be around 225)

which greddy IC? 18r or 24v?

so greddy hard piping kit and greddy 18r fmic and i dont have cut the 2ga front bumper and i can retain the 2ga foglights?

which fmic is this?

I have a starion i/c with greddy routed pipes and very similar in shape/size. I had to make a small notch in the bumper support about 3x2, and shave about 1 inch across the whole back side of the bumper on the bottom. This gave me enough room to fit the I/C into the bumper. I have a 2ga, I could have gotten away with out the 1 inch shaving, but It is going to make it fit a lot nicer.

Mine is close to this, but instead of piping coming from the front of the I/C it goes over the top, which allowed me to cut even less I would imagine. If It went in front, in order to fit behind the bumper support I would have had to cut more than an inch off across the whole support. Also, the support is some serious fiberglass (I believe it's fiberglass) Wear a mask, gloves, glasses, and I'd consider wearing a smock or a crappy long sleeve shirt, there are both fibers left after cutting and I had a few melted drops fly off and burn my legs while I was wearing shorts..

any fmic's other than the greddy 18r that dont require a bunch of hacking and can retain the stock 2ga foglights? or am i kinda stuck with greddy 18r in my situation?

The 2gb doesn't look hacked to hell though. It was designed to have that FMIC. The 2ga's always look hacked. I have been taking my time (to prevent frustration and thus mutilation) I still feel that when all is done mine is only going to be a 5/10.

Worse yet, I scratched the hell out of my bumper while it wasn't on the car.

^^^Because I have a 2 car garage with 1 car and 6 cars worth of junk (3 engines, 2 trans, numerous t case, diffs, half shafts, like 5 turbos) all packed in it. I get some good flash flooding, so everything has to be kept off the floor, and it's a real fiasco....I would do anything to have a better set up...
