okay guys, im new to dsm's so please bear with me. im about to buy a 95 gsx and i think i know what all i want to do to it.

right now i can say i want an injen (or injen style) intake, 1g (or aftermarket) bov(recirculated of course, with hard dumptube), hard IC pipes, small FMIC, boost gauge/boost controller, ported 2g exhaust manifold, 2.5"(or 3"???) downpipe, 2.5" (or 3"??) exhaust with stock EVO8 muffler...am i missing anything? what "free mods" and "first mods" did i forget? i tried searching "free mods" and the link is broken. thanx guys.

will a walbro 190 fuel pump and 550 cc injectors be big enough for the fp big28 with a great dsmlink tune up to 300 hp, or would i need the 255 for the big28 up to 300 hp?

Yes, But use the rewire MOD when installing the Pump, and 550cc injectors at a minimum.DSM Link is optimal. and this question has been answered many times already.

Fp B28 is good for 350 HP, with the right mods.

so go with the 190 with the stock t25, but rewire the 190 once i go with the fp big28? and 550cc injectors are big enough for 300hp with a good dsmlink tune?

:ohdamn: on a stock t-25....Just do the rewire mod for the Stock Fuel pump.

As for the FP B28 read the post above.

190 lph Walbro
Rewire Mod
550cc injectors minimum
DSM Link, or SAFC 1/2 or NEO.

and done..DSM LINK is preferred over the other three.

you can check my mods list since I run the exact same set-up for the FP B28 @ 18-20 Psi.

so dont replace my old stock pump to a 190 untill i get the bigger turbo? or would it be ok to use the 190 with stock turbo for now?

any dyno numbers or 1/4mile times with the fp28 at 20psi?

You really don't need to replace the stock pump, but if you plan to upgrade soon then go ahead. Just rewire it.

The 190 will work with the stock injectors.

dyno numbers.
DSM Dyno Challenge - T28

1/4 mile times.
DSM 1/4 Mile Times - T28

also would it be worth my time to install a pull through fan on the larger upgraded smic?

The design of the ports on the 2G head allow for more air velocity, which equates to a little more power.

People put the 2G pistons on 1GA(6 bolt) rods because the 2Gs have a higher compression ratio(8.5:1) than the 1Gs(7.8:1). The rods in the 1Gs are stonger and less prone to bend or break under high stress.

You are better off going with forged pistons on re-furbished 1G rods, if you actually need them(You dont). Theres not much of a price difference, because the 1G rods have to be machined to fit the 2G pistons which costs quite a bit.

so a re-wired 190 fuel pump with stock injectors wont need any tuning?

can i use evo 8 injectors? arent they 560cc?

1. A rewired 190 + stock injectors + stock turbo+ stock everything else= no tune required.

2.Yes 550cc < 560cc (FP b28 requires 550cc at a minimum) so yes, you can use injectors that are 560cc, But upgrading fuel injectors requires use of fuel management and tuning

awesome, i guess ill run re-wired 190, evo 8 injectors and dsmlink after i switch to the fp big28

im starting to think of going with a same side fmic like yours, or at the very least the big dejon smic...

but now ive been reading alot about ppl using stock evo fuel pumps, saying they are better than the wally 190 lph.... should i go with stock evo 8 fuel pump instead?

:ohdamn:I'm Noticing you're having trouble Staying on track.

Stick with the 190lph, it allows for for future upgrades.

you should stay away with injen intake...yeah its good and all but why spend the money when you could have an amazingly good looking custom fab'd one for like 75 bucks

I got the Injen Intake, due to the Fact it has A CARB number, and i don't have to swap intakes, everytime i want to smog.

i was thinking dejon intake w/ recirc tube and k&n filter... should be perfect for a 2g with t28...

will i be able to run the fp b28 at 15psi on 190 fp, stock injectors and stock ecu untill i can get injectors and dsmlink?

ah, i dont have emissions where i live :):rocks:
plus, swapping intakes isnt even a big deal. takes like 2 minutes tops

Should I get one of those all in 1 turbo upgrades with the intercooler and everything for like a 1000 or no?

not unless you want it to break, if your going to go GReddy.... its gonna be slow, they are good quality parts... but rediculasly expensive, otherwise if your going for an Ebay turbo "kit" id say stay away from it, if your gonna do it, do it right the first time.:nono:
