non turbo radiator

Ok. so apperently my buddy who owned my car before me replaced his radiator with a non turbo unit because he couldnt afford the right one. So he says. my car is overheating lately with this heat. new waterpump, hoses, fluid, and I rebuilt the engine and all the coolant passages are spotless. Is the non turbo radiator different? I cant tell. I have the old broken one and looking in the car at the one that is in there I cant really see a difference but its hard to tell with the one installed on the car. Is there a difference? If so I am looking at a godspeed unit online. Anygood? thanks for the help guys....need to et her running cool. this wasnt a problem untill just recently because of the hot temps lately. But i got stopped at a train for ten minutes and she got real hot with both the fans running

Should be usable. Check your system to ensure there is no air in there or you aren't leaking any.

There both the exact same. I have a turbo and non turbo radiator sitting side by side in my garage. No difference.

I see. I may have some air in there, I will check that. I didnt think they were different from looking at them.

Ok just checked the radiator in my car compared to the broken one out of thge car and they ae indeed different. By half an inch they are different. Thats a whole other row right there that I am lacking.I got the answer I needed
